This website is about buses, provincial buses, bus coaches that ply in and out of Metro Manila. It is the main transportation in the country since train industry has long been gone and gives bus companies the chance to take over the field of carrying people to their destinations. There is no central bus terminal in Manila rather they have their own terminals. You can find several bus terminals namely Cubao (where you can find most of the stations), Makati, Caloocan, Avenida and Pasay. These bus companies provide ordinary (non-airconditioned), air-conditioned and even luxury coaches. Buses have designated stopover places which allow passengers to unwind and take their snacks. Metro Manila will always be the final destination of all buses thus there are no direct trip from South to North or vice-versa. Passengers will have to take another bus if they intend to travel further.
The buses of each company can be recognized by their respective logos and designs, some are colorful and others are just painted with plain stripes. Two of the big bus operators in the Philippines are Victory Liner and Philtranco, which serves travelers from north and south respectively.
